Week 2: Wednesday
I am reading a book called A Woman Named Damaris. Damaris has finally found a job here and there. There was a lady who was very compassionate and Damaris wish that she could have stayed. Damaris has always wanted to go west. She now has an opportunity to. She has got a job working for a man and his wife to take care of three of their children during the ride west. I am very much enjoying this book.

Week 2: Tuesday
I am reading a book called A Woman Named Damaris. I am on page 34. I am enjoynig this book. I know I will also enjoy the points it will give me for AR. When I last read a train was passing where Damaris was. She at first did not know what the sound was, but then later came ashamed because she was very fimiliar with trains even though trains did not go through her town.

Week 2: Monday
I am reading a book called A Woman Named Damaris. It is very interesting and has very good word structure. In the book Damaris is running away. She has just ran into a stranger ,and she hoped that he would not spread the word that he saw a girl on the road back. Where I stopped, Damaris was just caught up in rain. She hopes it will cease soon.

In my current book, A Woman Named A Damaris, Damaris is runing away from home. She has found a stream of cold fresh water to refill her water bottle. She has also found railroad tracks which lead to a town. I am enjoying this book very much. I love how Janette Oke can put God in everything without even mentioning it.

Week 1: Thursday
In my book, A Woman Named Damaris, Damaris has now run away from home.She left when her mom was taking a nap. She planned to make her move when her father went to town. She knew it would be sometime soon because she knew her father could not resist alcohol. He would take their money and spend it all on alcohol. She knew for sure that she must get away from him. I love reading books by Janette Oke.

Week 1: Wednesday
I have a new book! I finished my recent book, When Hope Springs New. I took a test on it and I made a 19 out of 20. My new book is ,A Woman Named Damaris. I am on page 17. It is about a girl who has a drunk father who does not care for her mother and her very much. I am enjoying this book right now.

Week 1: 2nd 9 weeks
Monday: In my book, When Hope Springs New, Elizabeth and Wynn have to move away. Elizabeth was very sad because she was leaving a "new" village. Even though Elizabeth was mad, she was extremely happy because her new home was very big. I hope I finish this book by Wednesday. I am on page 186 out of 222.

Week 9:Thursday
In my book, When Hope Springs New, something astonishing has happened. The men have come back from the city. They bring back the news that the city would send in supplies and people to help build homes for them. Elizabeth was very excited and felt like a weight was coming off her shoulders. I am enjoying this book. Hopefully i will be done with it by Wednesday. :)

Week 9: Wednesday
In my book, When Hope Springs New, Wynn has just returned home. HE is finding differences in every person. Lameche ,the store keeper, is not cruel anymore.The Indians are now taking orders from Elizabeth instead of running from her. He also notices that one of the Indian women is interested in LaMeche. I am enjoying this book more every page. I would recommend Janette Oke's books to anyone. She is an exceptional author.

Week 9
I am currently reading the book, When Hope Springs New. I am on page 153. Elizabeth is happy because Wynn is back home. They went back to the destruction of the fire and found their "promise" bucket. They saw how God kept his promise even through a fire.I am very much enjoying this book.

Week 8
In my current book,When Hope Springs New, Elizabeth has to put up with not having Wynn by her side. She is getting along with the Indians even though times are hard. It has rained for two days and Elizabeth has not gotten any sleep. She has realized what a big help the store keeper was. She knows that she would not have been able to manage without him.

Wednesday: I am currently reading the book, When Hope Springs New. It is a very good book. In my current readings, Elizabeth has just had to put up with a forest fire. The fire completely destroyed the village.Elizabeth now has to put up with having nothing to own and still trust God.
